Philips and Al Ghandi Electronics consortium has won the Energy Performance Contract to provide Philips Lighting Solutions for Dubai Airports Terminal 1 and 3 and their respective concourses. The Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed on 24th October 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Center during Wetex 2018, in the presence of H.E. Ali Jassim – CEO of Etihad – amidst other government and media officials. This is the fourth and largest Energy Performance Contract that the Philips and Al Ghandi Electronics consortium has signed with Etihad for Dubai Airports. In this regard, H.E. Ali Jassim expressed his satisfaction on the performance of the consortium, during the LOI signing event.
Etihad ESCO is a Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) venture that was established in 2013 to make Dubai’s built environment a leading example of energy efficiency for the region and the world.
